Over the years, he has played with a number of bands, including Spontaneous Combustion, becoming familiar with many of the finest traditional tunes.  In a fit of overconfidence, he has tried to improve on them, and write some of his own.

Brian is happy to enter technical discussions on the band's repertoire by e-mail, but prefers to do so in convivial company (with the offer of a pint or two!)
